FEED THE FLOWERS

WATER FREQUENTLY
In the warm weather, it’s very important you check your plants on a daily basis and water them if the soil is dry. The team at Tong recommends watering early in the morning and late evening during the height of summer!
CONTROL THOSE PESTS
Keep an eye out for slugs, aphids, vine weevil and any other pests that may cause damage to your plants! Slugs will attack young plants so invest in a pest control such as Solabiol Slug Killer to ensure your plants are protected.
Don’t mow too low!
In hot, dry months keep your lawn looking green by allowing the blades of grass to grow longer! Just be aware that cutting your lawn too short will create brown spots.
Cut back spent flowers
Deadhead regularly by removing dead flowers from your bedding plants as they fade – it keeps plants looking tidy and encourages new growth!
