Nourish your soil

Spring is the ideal time to condition your soil. Improve its quality by adding Westland’s Farmyard Manure to your garden’s beds and borders. This improves moisture retention and adds much-needed nutrients back into your soil, ready for planting.

Feed your hungry plants

Give your plants the best start this season by applying a good feed now. Westland’s Fish, Blood and Bone is high in phosphorus, which makes it particularly good for stimulating strong, healthy root growth.

Love your lawn

Get a lush, green lawn this April by showing your patch a little love now! Start with a good scarify to remove dead grass and moss before aerating to improve the air and water circulation. Finally, apply a feed such as Aftercut All-in-One Lawn Feed, Weed and Moss Killer to help add nutrients to support and sustain your lawn during the season.

 Perfect time for pruning

Remove crossing branches and any weak growth from certain hardy evergreen plants, roses and shrubs such as hydrangeas and spirea to help direct the plant’s energy where it’s most needed. Our top tip - cut outward facing buds using anvil secateurr on the diagonal and aim to create a nice open framework for air to circulate.
